She has been implementing her vision in the wines produced here since taking control of the property in 1994. It was a wine with a low alcohol content and some effervescence, the result of natural fermentation during the time it was buried, and its preservation was aided by the constant temperature and absence of light. Because it had been buried, the wine was named Wine of the Dead.
