With the exception of the sparkling wine, made from the Baga grape variety, all are made exclusively with native Dão grape varieties, and all are harvested on the estate. The white variety Encruzado and the red variety Touriga Nacional stand out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eRaquel Mendes Pereira was born in Brazil. About ten years ago, she decided to come to Portugal to take care of the family farm. She knew little about Portugal, but even less about vineyards, land, terroir, grape varieties, and the Dão region.
