Descrição: O Porto de Tawny, de 40 anos, é um vinho resultante de vários vinhos do porto que envelheceram em barris antigos de 550 litros ao longo de muitos anos no armazém da Quinta da Pacheca. Durante o envelhecimento, o vinho perde sua cor que se transforma na cor âmbar/laranja característica dos vinhos do porto velhos.

Description
Quinta da Pacheca, one of the best-known farms in the Douro region, was also one of the first properties to bottle wine under its own brand. It is mentioned for the first time in a document dated April 1738, where it is referred to as “Pacheca”, as it is owned by D. Mariana Pacheco Pereira. But it was only in 1903, when D. José Freire de Serpa Pimentel decided to develop his interest in oenology, that he bought the farm and began to seriously dedicate himself to the risky business of winemaking. Today, a century and many successes later, a new generation of the Serpa Pimentel family.
