Adega Mayor is the result of the vision of Commander Rui Nabeiro and his great passion for wines and his land \u2013 Campo Maior.
\nFrom the hand of the prestigious architect Siza Vieira came the unmistakable design of this distinct, contemporary and soulful winery. Opened in 2007 but producing wines since 2002, Adega Mayor has 65 hectares of vineyards spread across two estates that give rise to the Monte Mayor, Touriga Nacional, Reserva do Comendador and Garrafeira do Comendador brands.
\nWinemaker Paulo Laureano and a dedicated team are responsible for designing these nectars with a strong personality, where all the tradition and sophistication of an undiscovered Alentejo is revealed.<\/p>\n

On the plains of Campo Maior, vineyards grow, giving rise to wines with a fresh and striking character. It was on this undulating Alentejo coast that Architect Siza Vieira designed the unmistakable design of this winery.
