Kasteel Donker belongs to the family of strong dark brown beers in which roasted malts predominate. The first Kasteel beer is therefore a full-bodied beer, with clear notes of caramel, coffee and chocolate. The sweet attack makes this beer surprisingly complex and very approachable.

Description
Kasteel has been the heart of the brewery for many years and largely reflects the rich tradition of Belgian beer with Kasteel Blond, Kasteel Donker and Kasteel Tripel. Kasteel Hoppy is the answer to successful IPA or India Pale Ale. Kasteel Rouge is a maverick from the line, a mix of Kasteel Donker and cherries.
