O Porto Pacheca Reserva é um Vinho do Porto resultante de um lote de diferentes vinhos com 6 ou 8 anos de idade o mais jovem e 10 anos o mais velho. O envelhecimento destes vinhos foi feito em barricas de madeira para promover uma maior oxigenação. A sua cor vermelha original dá lugar a tons âmbar, o seu sabor é enriquecido por uma combinação de nozes, frutos secos e aromas a frutos vermelhos.
Description
Quinta da Pacheca, one of the best-known farms in the Douro region, was also one of the first properties to bottle wine under its own brand. It is mentioned for the first time in a document dated April 1738, where it is referred to as “Pacheca”, as it is owned by D. Mariana Pacheco Pereira. But it was only in 1903, when D. José Freire de Serpa Pimentel decided to develop his interest in oenology, that he bought the farm and began to seriously dedicate himself to the risky business of winemaking. Today, a century and many successes later, a new generation of the Serpa Pimentel family.
