Pauwel Kwak is an iconic amber-colored beer from Bosteels Brewery. This is because of the tasty beer, but certainly also because of the special glass. The so-called coachman's glass gave Pauwel Kwak a lot of fame.

Na época de Napoleão, Pauwel Kwak era um cervejeiro e proprietário da pousada “De Hoorn” em Dendermond. As caixas de correio paravam todos os dias. Mas, naquela época, o cocheiro não tinha permissão para saciar a sede de seus passageiros.
The inventive innkeeper had therefore blown a special Kwak cup, which could be hung in the carriage. This allows coachmen to keep their Kwak beer safe.
Today, Kwak is one of the few remaining historic Belgian beers and is still served in its original Kwak glass, with respect for tradition.
