Winemaker’s Collection identifica a Coleção singular de vinhos Douro DOC sob a qual são lançadas edições limitadas: tinto, branco, rosé, numeradas e assinadas pelo enólogo Ricardo Macedo. Para este Reserva Rosé foi selecionada a casta Tinto Cão, uma das castas mais singulares do Douro que se caracteriza por ter cacho pequeno e película densa.
Evidenciando uma acidez cativante, taninos suaves e robustos, esta casta confere uma boa capacidade de envelhecimento, longevidade e frescura. Um rosé elegante, amplo e complexo que estagiou na adega da Quinta de S. Luiz. Lote numerado de 7.450 garrafas engarrafado em duas capacidades. Garrafas 1 a 7.100 em 750ml, garrafas 7.101 a 7.450, em 1500ml.
Description
Innovation combined with the traditional way of doing things has allowed us to evolve and maintain the personality of these lands, which over the years have seen several changes. The construction of the Bagaúste Dam and the consequent rise in water levels meant that part of the original area of Quinta de S. Luiz became submerged.
The solution involved the acquisition of contiguous properties, such as Quinta da Mesquita (1972), Quinta da Lobata (1974), Quinta da Alegria (1982) and Quinta da Galeira (1987). The Quinta currently covers 125ha, 90 of which are planted with vines, including old vines that produce fruit for our premium wines.
