Description
Sitting on the shoulders of the Douro lies the village of Freixo de Espada-à-Cinta, proud owner of a unique history and the most captivating landscapes that the north of Portugal can offer. It is on these steep slopes of schist soil of the oldest demarcated region in the world that the septuagenarian vineyards that give life to Ládano rest peacefully, a wine that originates from a process of little intervention and spontaneous fermentation that allows it to best express its terroir and offer a harmonious and immersive experience.
