In the heart of Vidigueira, in the southern foothills of Serra do Mendro, in schist soils with a Franco Arenosa and Franco Limosa texture, the unarmed vineyards are planted, which gave rise to Natus 2020 Red.
The traditional grape varieties, mainly Trincadeira and Castelão, harvested by hand, were trodden on foot for 2 days. Upon the spontaneous start of fermentation, the grapes were pressed and the must was kept in uncoated 19th century clay pots, until the end of alcoholic fermentation.
The 12-month internship was carried out in century-old Portuguese Oak and Chestnut barrels.
Open in color, it is complex in aroma. Red fruits in harmony with vegetal and balsamic notes, translate into the mouth a lively and precise acidity, with a delicate and elegant texture.
740 750ml bottles and 98 1500ml bottles were bottled on the family property, in November 2021.

A return to a past. A return to the Alentejo of wines with an open color, with greater freshness and elegance. A very specific passion, an immense desire to be happy making wine. Love and dedication to the vineyard mark the beginning of the project.
In the vineyard, ancient techniques are followed, designed to preserve the essence of the place. The entire production process is carried out within the organic and biological production mode.
