The Moscatel Roxo variety is a rare variety, known for producing one of the best liqueurs in Portugal. Its purple color and small berry distinguish this variety from the Moscatel de Setúbal variety. This special grape variety gives the wine intense floral notes, making it unique, fresh, with excellent minerality and a long finish.
Description
Quinta do Piloto is heir to the winemaking tradition of four generations of the Cardoso family in Palmela. Its wines are the result of lots chosen from 200 hectares of vineyards in the best terroirs in the region.
Allowing you to taste the essence of Palmela wines at their best is the promise of Quinta do Piloto. A promise based on the excellence of the terroirs where old vines of traditional grape varieties shine, such as Castelão and Moscatel. Vinified using the region's ancestral methods, thanks to the knowledge of four generations of the Cardoso family, Quinta do Piloto's wines are elegant, exponents of native grape varieties and small quantities of varieties chosen for excellence.
