“Os vintage de 2022 são o resultado de uma época de crescimento muito seca e quente, que foi interrompida por algumas chuvas muito bem-vindas no início da vindima. O caráter único da vinha da Quinta de Vargellas é claramente expresso nos vinhos de 2022 e, portanto, consideramos apropriado engarrafar este ano como um vintage de quinta.”
Roxo profundo quase negro com uma estreita borda magenta. Nariz exuberante, poderoso e fresco de groselha preta e cereja. Finesse, elegância e equilíbrio com um impulso linear de frutos silvestres, nuances de ameixa e um toque de citrinos e marmelo. Este fundo denso é sobreposto por uma frescura encantadora de uvas que se intensifica à medida que o aroma se desenvolve.
Os aromas florais, característicos de Vargellas, estão presentes, com fragrâncias de violeta entrelaçadas com notas delicadas de flores e ervas.
Uma onda de limpa fruta vermelha percorre o palato do início ao fim. Os taninos são firmes, mas bem integrados, proporcionando bastante aderência e um toque atraente de austeridade.

Description
For many, Taylor's is the most illustrious wine producing house in Port and drinking its wines constitutes the most sublime of experiences.
Created more than three centuries ago, in 1692, Taylor's is one of the oldest Port wine trading houses dedicated exclusively to the production of Port wine and, especially, its best styles.
Above all, Taylor's is an independent company in which some family members play leadership roles in all areas of activity. The company's long and uninterrupted family tradition has allowed it to provide continuity and clarity of mission, both essential attributes of any great Port wine house. It also allowed us to improve the skills and knowledge necessary to produce the best Ports, which are constantly refined in light of the experience that is passed from generation to generation.
Taylor's is also respected as a producer of wood-aged Port wines and holds one of the largest reserves of rare cask-aged wines, of which the distinctive aged Tawny Port wines stand out. The house is also known as the creator of LBV (Late Bottled Vintage), a style that the company pioneered and of which it continues to be the main producer.
Successive generations, with their experience, have strived to improve their knowledge and ability to produce increasingly better Port wines.
Based in Porto and the Douro region, the company is involved in all stages of the production of its Port wines, from planting the vineyard and growing the grapes to the elaboration, aging and bottling of wine batches.
