From a vineyard over 50 years old come the grapes of the Gouveio, Viosinho, Rabigato and Códega do Larinho varieties, which make up this wine. This ferments and ages in new French oak barrels at controlled temperatures.
The Guru is thus a testimony to the maturity of the vine that created him. Just as the vivacity of the white grapes is softened by the wisdom of the years, the acidity of this wine is also balanced by the softness of the wood, in an engaging tasting in which the clear grapefruit aroma with mineral notes stands out.

Description
Founded in 2001 by the winemaking couple Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, who have invested and purchased old vineyards and properties in the Pinhão River valley. “Our objective is to create wines that express all the character of the old vines and indigenous grape varieties of the Douro, seeking a balance between concentration, complexity and elegance.”
