The CR&F legacy began in 1895, when Francisco Ribeiro de Carvalho became an exporter of wines and spirits from his facilities in Ginjal (Almada/Lisbon).
Initially, still somewhat apprehensive due to being a completely unknown company, the first wine sales were to African markets, with Ambriz being the first port chosen for its exports.
The care he put into his work, the honesty of his processes, and the perfect fulfillment of his obligations soon caused his fears to vanish, and this entrepreneurial man saw his name respected and his transactions multiply.
