Kasteel has been the heart of the brewery for many years and largely reflects the rich tradition of Belgian beer with Kasteel Blond, Kasteel Donker, and Kasteel Tripel. Kasteel Hoppy is the answer to the success of the IPA, or India Pale Ale. Kasteel Rouge is a dissident of the line, a blend of Kasteel Donker and cherries.
