As a child, Rosário Ataíde, the current owner, was affectionately nicknamed "Little Fox" by her father, hence the name of the property and some of the wines, not only as a tribute to her father but also to the whole family.
With a production of 120,000 bottles per year, the management and winemaking direction is entrusted to João Nuno Ataíde – one of the three sons of Rosário Ataíde and his husband Nuno Ataíde – and to the winemaker and his wife, Paula Bragança Ataíde.
