Vinevinu was born in the 2024 vintage from the shared enthusiasm of father and son, Manuel and Luís Cerdeira, both winemakers, with the goal of creating an innovative project in northern Portugal, in the Vinho Verde region. The challenge lies in exploring the versatility of Alvarinho, capturing its essence in different terroirs, between the sea and the mountains.
This duo, from different generations, unites in a shared vision: to preserve the winemaking tradition of Minho while incorporating innovation and creativity. With 30 years of accumulated experience, the father brings a wealth of knowledge about white wines made with Alvarinho grapes, while the son, with a more contemporary approach, challenges the limits of winemaking.
