Dolce Vita Dry Gin is a Mediterranean gin obtained from the distillation of spices, roots, citrus fruits, and flowers grown exclusively in Italy.
Distilled by the Targa Family, Dolce Vita is born from the union of a passion for the art of distillation and devotion to the homeland: Italy.
To explain this product and its packaging, it is necessary to mention the passion for the landscapes, colors, and aromas of southern Italy on the part of the Targa family, originally from Padua. In particular, in 1932, the young future aviation commander Emo Targa, at the time just over fourteen years old, undertook a long summer vacation with his family to reach Acitrezza, a small town on the Sicilian coast.
During the trip, Emo experienced the flavors, fragrances, and aromas of southern Italy for the first time. One of their stops was planned in Naples. There, soon after his arrival, he met a young woman from Capri, with whom he spent a lot of time talking. A tender connection immediately arose between them, and the two decided to meet the following day in Capri. Since Emo was unfamiliar with the island, they agreed to meet in Piazza Umberto I (the famous "little square"), under the bell tower.
The following day, and for the next three days, they continued to meet in the same place, losing themselves in games and frenetic conversations, surrounded by the bright colors of the Mediterranean and breathing the soft, aromatic air. In the following weeks, young Targa bid farewell to his dear friend and continued his journey through Italy to Sicily. Back in Padua, Emo continued to nurture that passion born for the south, a passion that, having become a father, he continued to pass on to his family.
In fact, it was his son Dino who, after learning the art of distillation while working in the family business, decided to pay homage to his father and the land he loved so much, combining the aromas he described into a single distillate. That's how "DOLCE VITA" Gin was born, a tribute to Capri and the delicate aromas of the Mediterranean.
