Magellan Gin is named after Ferdinand Magellan, the explorer who left Spain hoping to circumnavigate the world and explore the spice islands. He may not have returned to Spain, but several barrels of cloves did. It is thanks to him and the spices that he discovered that gin exists. Handcrafted in small batches at the Angeac Distillery in France, Magellan Gin begins with the triple distillation of French wheat and demineralized spring water.
