The origins of the town of Famalicão set the tone for the creation of our gin, whose inspiration comes from the so-called Vermoim Castle, built in the 11th century by Count Vermuiz Forjaz. It is, in fact, the count who ordered the construction of the fortress that protected the town that gives the gin its name. The name and main characteristics: strong, combative, and adaptable to every palate. A new experience with every taste!

Vermuiz gin offers a perfect combination of citrus flavors with spices and herbs. Made from a joint distillation of botanicals in a traditional pot still, Vermuiz was developed over two months by a distiller with extensive experience in the field. After a six-day maceration process and double distillation, the gin achieves a botanical balance.

Juniper and coriander are essential pillars of Vermuiz. Combined, they achieve the right balance, allowing a refreshing sensation to fill the mouth and awaken all the senses. And while the initial taste lingers, the finish has a spicy flavor without ever forgetting the taste of lemon and grapefruit.

Made from a combined distillation of botanicals in a traditional pot still, Vermuiz was developed over two months by a distiller with extensive experience in the field. After a maceration process lasting six days, and through double distillation, Vermuiz achieves a botanical balance that provides a unique experience.

With an alcohol content of 42%, our gin has juniper and coriander as its essential pillars, which together achieve the perfect balance so that a refreshing sensation fills the mouth and awakens all the senses.

Vermuiz offers a long, instant taste and a lingering finish that incorporates almond, clove, and goji berries. It's a spicy aftertaste with a citrusy palate highlighting grapefruit and lemon. Drinking Vermuiz is experiencing a blend of flavors in one experience.
