Quinta do Hotle is a small family-run farm located in the village of Murça, Trás-os-Montes, in the Douro Demarcated Region. It is known for its tradition in producing high-quality wines and olive oils.
The company is dedicated to cultivating vines and olive groves for the production of Douro DOC wines, under the brand “HOTLE”, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, under the brand “SERRA DE MURÇA”.
Their mission is to produce, process, and add value to grapes and olives while respecting the environment through sustainable agricultural practices. Their vineyard plots total approximately 5 hectares, located on the outskirts of the village of Murça, at altitudes ranging from 450 to 500 meters, and planted in schist soils.
For red wines, the current focus is on the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Amarela grape varieties.
For white wines, they use the grape varieties Gouveia Branco, Verdelho, Viosinho, Rabigato, Folgasão and Arinto.
