Spanning 31.3 acres, the farm remains thriving on harsh, schistous soil. Once a dryland farm, the area now enjoys a dry climate with low rainfall, where the influence of warm winds at the peak of the dry season creates small whirlwinds among the vines, reminiscent of a hot, almost African environment.
Surrounded by a silvopastoral area, the estate is home to various species that coexist in perfect harmony. With a keen eye, a visit to our farm reveals a great diversity of plants, but also of animals. The production of holm oak, cork oak and pine, from native plants such as rockrose, rosemary, and pennyroyal, and the life of animals such as hares, partridges, wild boar, foxes, and even herons and dragonflies, give this farm a unique and fascinating biodiversity.
Furthermore, due to the low population density and the absence of streetlights, the property enjoys a majestic night sky, sprinkled with stars and galaxies visible to the naked eye.
