In homage to the Dão region, we create exclusive wines made from native grape varieties.

The agricultural system implemented on the farm is an integrated protection program, which minimizes the use of pesticides, demonstrating great respect for the environment. The vines are not irrigated, thus leaving them at the mercy of the climate, which enhances the annual character of each wine.

Every step in vineyard management reflects the care for the final product. Production is limited so that each vine can fully express the characteristics of the grapes it produces, enhancing the features of each variety, which translates into an annual production of 100,000 bottles of superior quality wine.

Quinta de Lemos has been distinguished since its inception, but it was in 2013 that it received one of the world's most emblematic awards: the Gold Medal, Portuguese Red Trophy and Dão Trophy, for the Dona Georgina 2005 wine at the International Wine Challenge (IWC), one of the most prestigious international competitions that takes place annually in the United Kingdom.

At the IWC, it received the special James Rogers Trophy 2013 award, which recognizes the best wine in its first year of production, and for this reason, it was nominated as one of the five best wines in the world.

Robert Parker, a world-renowned wine critic, rated all vintages from 2011 and 2012 with 90 points or more.
