Quinta Vale d'Aldeia – located in the Meda region, in the heart of the Upper Douro – is a project born from the effort and dedication of a family whose main objective is the production of excellent wines.

Its location, characterized by rich and complex microclimates, allows for truly unparalleled profitability and quality to be obtained from the generous soil and selected grape varieties. This is combined with the use of cutting-edge technology in wine production and manufacturing, making Quinta Vale d'Aldeia one of the leading wine references in the Douro Demarcated Region.

Fully integrated into the Douro demarcated region, the estate currently has approximately 150 hectares of cultivated land, of which 110 are vineyards and the remainder olive groves. The vines have been planted since 2004 and are distributed in plots by carefully selected grape varieties, taking into account soil characteristics, sun exposure, altitude, and desired ripeness. The wines from this area are young and fresh, whose most evident characteristic is the acidity they acquire during maturation, this being one of the most important qualities regarding the evolution of the wines during bottle aging.
