Whiskey Old Pulteney 15 Years 70cl

Rise with the tide

The history of old Pulteney is inseparable from the sea. It's in our DNA. It's in everything we do.

Like so many others, we embraced the immense power of the sea... its waves, ebbs and flows... to create something remarkable.

Our home in Wick, situated on Scotland's northernmost coast, is entirely shaped by its maritime past. Since the distillery doors opened in 1826, and continuing to this day, the whisky breathes the air of the sea, taking on its coastal qualities. Maritime Malt.

Stories of those who work in partnership with the sea, in the latest film series.

Working in partnership with the sea means going with the flow… accepting the elements. It’s a commitment and a leap of faith all in one. At Old Pulteney, it’s well known that life’s greatest rewards only come one way – with patience, but the journey you can take will be worth it in the end.

“Here in Old Pulteney, we go up with the tide every day. Everything we do is born from the sea; it’s our greatest partner. We know there are countless others who, like us, embrace the sea to create something powerful. Our latest film series is about sharing these stories so people can be inspired by them. To get there, embrace this opportunity and do something remarkable.”
Malcolm Waring, distillery manager.
