The famous Taiwanese whisky Omar is changing its name to Yushan Signature, thanks to the state-owned TTL, owner of the Nantou distillery. Yushan is the highest peak on the island of Taiwan, making it an evocative name for this high-quality drink.
This sherry cask version is fruitier than the bourbon version. It will appeal to whisky lovers. It has no shortage of personality and reveals all the expertise of the Nantou distillery.
This single malt is distilled in Scottish (Forsyths) and Belgian copper pot stills, and aged in sherry casks. It is not colored or chill-filtered.
