Description
Mythology says that Medusa was an absolutely irresistible being, carrying within herself the curse of turning anyone who looked into her eyes into stone. The curse only ended when a fisherman used a mirror that, reflecting his own image, also transformed it into stone, allowing his destruction. Legend also has it that, from one of his veins, the elixir of eternal life flowed. Since mythology is a recreation of life itself, Cave Central da Bairrada created the Medusa Bairrada DOC wine brand. This brand was born with the aim of creating mythical wines from the Bairrada region, which will prevail in time and memories.
In 2019, the brand was launched through Medusa red, Medusa white and Medusa Rosé wines. Months later, the white and red Medusa Reserva and the red Medusa Grande Reserva were also launched.
