A reflection of the more than 80-year-old vineyard that gave rise to it, this wine is composed of an exceptional field blend of more than 30 grape varieties.
After a carefully planned harvest, fermentation takes place in granite lagares with foot treading and subsequent aging in mostly new French oak barrels.
Complexity and elegance, enriched by the persistent aroma of blackberry and chocolate, are the main characteristics that define this great wine, named in honor of the charismatic Pointer of the Serôdio Borges family.

Description
Founded in 2001 by the winemaking couple Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, who have invested and purchased old vineyards and properties in the Pinhão River valley.
“Our objective is to create wines that express all the character of the old vines and indigenous grape varieties of the Douro, seeking a balance between concentration, complexity and elegance.”
