GARROCHA is the wine brand of the Macieira family, dedicated solely to producing wines from grapes grown on their own estates. Later, the Macieira family founded the company Sociedade Agrícola Quinta do Garrido Ltda., which they fully own and which, in turn, owns the GARROCHA brand.
Currently, the family operates three farms in the municipality of Alenquer: Quinta do Garrido (headquarters), Quinta da Gaia, and Quinta de Sans Souci.
