Winemakers Pedro Miguel and Igor Lima started Beta Wines at the age of 24. Pedro has degrees in Viticulture, Oenology, and Agronomy, and a strong connection to Bairrada, his birthplace. Beyond the vines and wines, he values the people and local customs, which enriches his understanding of the region in a critical and methodical way. Igor, also trained in Viticulture and Oenology, has international experience, having worked with wines in France, Romania, New Zealand, and Australia. He returned to Bairrada, where he was born, and discovered it to be the wine profile with which he most identifies.
What unites us goes beyond daily tasks; we prioritize interpersonal relationships above all else, a love for the creative process, for innovation, and for the relentless pursuit of quality. We are here not only to produce wine, but to share unique experiences and create memorable moments. Each of us brings a unique set of talents, perspectives, and passions, resulting in a fusion of creativity that is reflected in every bottle.
