J.CABRAL ALMEIDA is a wine company founded by João Cabral de Almeida, a 36-year-old winemaker from Portugal who works primarily in Northern Portugal in the Vinho Verde, Douro, and Dão regions.
Without fixed ideas or vineyards, we seek terroirs that convey something special.
Original and genuine wines, full of character, like the people and places of our country.
The winemaking concept at J. CABRAL ALMEIDA WINES is to showcase the potential of different grape varieties in different terroirs. Our wines are produced using a philosophy of minimal intervention in winemaking to help reflect the authenticity of each grape variety/terroir. What we want is to bottle Portugal!
