Acquired in 2009, this extensive property is located in São Lourenço do Bairro, Anadia, in the heart of Bairrada, a wine-growing area par excellence and a region especially cherished by IDEALDRINKS. The 80 hectares of vineyards spread across the clay-limestone soils of the region's typical gentle hills, which gave rise to its name.
The vineyard, which has been completely remodeled and replanted with various national and international grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Arinto - allows the production of a wide and diverse range of products, including red, rosé, white and sparkling wines.
The farm's winery, recently built according to the world's best practices, utilizes state-of-the-art winemaking technology, with all liquid and solids moving by gravity. The spacious aging rooms, equipped with the finest French oak barrels, provide ideal conditions for the tranquil resting of the wines, which typically also age in the bottle for several years. Reserve wines destined for sparkling wine production also age in these rooms in impressive reserve tanks.
