Conde de Anadia wines originate in the Palace of the Counts of Anadia in Mangualde-Viseu.
Wine production on the estate dates back to the 18th century. Within the Palace walls, we find 10 hectares of vineyards, planted at an altitude of 500 meters in granitic soils, framed to the west by the majestic Serra da Estrela mountain range and bordered by the estate's forest. Belonging to the Dão demarcated region (Terras de Azurara sub-region), the Palace vineyards feature typical Dão grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Jaen, and Encruzado.
