Casa Santos Lima is a family-owned company dedicated to the production, bottling, and marketing of Portuguese wines. It operates directly or indirectly in the Lisbon, Algarve, Alentejo, Douro, and Vinho Verde wine regions. From approximately 600 hectares of vineyards, the company produces wines known for their excellent quality/price ratio and exports about 90% of its total production to nearly 50 countries across 5 continents. Casa Santos Lima is also the largest producer of "Vinho Regional Lisboa" and "DOC Alenquer" and in recent years has been one of the most awarded Portuguese producers in major national and international wine competitions.
Currently, the company's main facilities (offices, shop and larger wineries) are located at Quinta da Boavista in Alenquer, just 45 km north of Lisbon. This farm has belonged to the Santos Lima family for more than four generations and offers ideal conditions for the production of quality wine. Casa Santos Lima also has its own vineyards and winery located in Tavira in the Algarve and, through agreements and partnerships with other companies and producers, also manages vineyards and wineries in the Alentejo, Douro and Vinho Verde regions.
Casa Santos Lima has a very broad portfolio of wines, producing red, white, rosé, sparkling, semi-sparkling, light, and late-vintage wines every year in 5 different regions. This varied range of options allows the company great dynamism in the national and international market and has enabled constant growth year after year. Currently, Casa Santos Lima is responsible for the production of approximately 40% of all certified wine from the Lisbon Region and is one of the main exporters of Portuguese wine.
