The neutral grain spirit (at 96% ABV) is infused with the natural flavors and aromas of BULLDOG Gin's 12 distinct botanicals within a copper still.
This allows the plants to macerate the spirit before distillation, releasing their essential oils, resulting in the creation of vapor.
The resulting vapor passes through a condenser and is re-electronized to produce an essence. As a result, the "heads" (volatile compounds with low boiling points) and "tails" (volatile compounds with high boiling points) are separated from the distillate.
The resulting essence (measured at 76% ABV) is further blended with a neutral, wheat-based grain spirit.
The liquid is decomposed with demineralized water until it reaches the necessary strength for bottling (40% ABV).
By meeting the exacting aromatic and flavor standards, it can then be bottled and labeled as BULLDOG London Dry Gin.
