In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, in the border region between the Upper Douro and Beira Alta, my passion for the aromas and scents of this land, which shape our character, was born within my family.
After experiencing many different cultures of living and making wine in various parts of the globe, I returned to the great Douro Valley convinced that we have the potential to produce some of the best wines in the world.

Out of respect for nature and the way we cultivate our vines, my wines reflect my experiences, smelling and tasting of my land, of schist, of wet granite, of rockrose, of wildflowers and fruits.
It is in my winery that I make wines with the character of our 'terroir', expressed by the native grape varieties, to which I impart my own style and an international profile.
