Created in 2004 by the common will of different entities, the Sociedade Agrícola Garantia das Fazendas (Agricultural Guarantee of Farms Society) is primarily dedicated to the production and marketing of various products in the viticulture and wine sector.

Quinta de Santa Cristina is located in Celorico de Basto, a small town in the Braga district. It is part of the Basto sub-region of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region and is bordered by the Marão, Alvão, Fafe and Cabreira mountain ranges and the right bank of the Tâmega River.
Fazenda Santa Cristina has a centuries-old history, belonging to the same family for several generations. Professional wine production began in 2004 and is currently managed by Mr. António Pinto, Mrs. Rosa Maria Pinto, and their daughter, Mónica Pinto.
The Quinta de Santa Cristina estate is located at approximately 400m altitude and comprises three estates: Quinta de Santa Cristina, Quinta da Capela, and Quinta de Salgueiros. Between white and red varieties, around 14 distinct varieties are produced across 60 hectares of vineyards. Our production is certified under Integrated Production and meets the rules of the Global GAP certification.
Dressed in yellow and red, the winery is a distinctive icon of the Santa Cristina Farm. This winery was built in 2012 and has a production capacity of 1 million liters. Currently, only about 500,000 liters of wine are produced. From the presses and lagares to the bottle, this is where the entire winemaking process of Quinta de Santa Cristina wines and sparkling wines takes place.
Quinta de Santa Cristina offers a wide range of products, distributed under the brands Séquito, Santa Cristina, and Quinta de Santa Cristina, ranging from the typical Vinho Verde to more distinctive products such as Reserva wines and sparkling wines. The majority of products are sold domestically, accounting for 70% of annual production. The remaining 30% is exported to countries such as Germany, Brazil, the USA, Poland, Switzerland, etc.
