We integrate the concepts of sustainable development into all stages of production, and the energy consumed by our winery is produced from renewable sources. We work tirelessly and collaborate to perpetuate the creation of authentic works of art in viticulture.
Built in the heart of the property, the Pessegueiro winery stands out for its extraordinary architecture, which results from the building's functions and, above all, the specific winemaking method it employs.
The building has five levels and combines traditional methods of producing high-quality wines with the most sophisticated equipment.
A true technological challenge, our winery was designed to utilize natural gravity throughout the entire process of transforming grapes into wine. Aiming to preserve and respect the wine as much as possible, the use of pumps has been completely eliminated throughout the entire process, from receiving the grapes to the barrel room. To complement natural gravity, we also have an elevator tank.
This gravity-fed process ensures gentle and respectful treatment of the wine.
All of our production is overseen by João Nicolau de Almeida and a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals.
