It was in 2004 that António Maçanita and David Booth produced the first vintage of Sexy Tinto, a wine that has gained considerable visibility over the years. In the early days of Sexy wines, family support was crucial, as António Maçanita was only 23 years old and had to rely on the triad " Friends, Fools and Family ," as António likes to jokingly call it—that is, with some capital from his uncle, some from his mother, some from his father, and so on.
