The farm is situated in Provesende, stretching along a hillside in the Pinhão Valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name. It consists of nine hectares of vineyards, two hectares of olive groves, and three hectares of forest. The vineyard has a north-facing exposure, which is a key factor in determining the style of table wine produced on the property. Temperatures in the region are always extremely high in summer, and on the north-facing slope, the grapes can ripen more slowly, which better preserves aromas, flavors, and acidity. The ruined building next to the old orange grove has been restored and now serves as both the house and the winery, in a breathtaking and intense landscape among the vines. The winery is minimalist, with four traditional stone lagares (temperature controlled) and an old vertical press. It also has a climate-controlled barrel aging cellar with thick schist walls. It is a winery designed to develop wines very slowly and with great care, equipped with everything necessary to achieve the full expression of its terroir.
