The Solar da Pena estate has an 18-hectare vineyard, dominated by white grape varieties, and a winery. In the near future, they plan to open a rural tourism unit with an "obvious focus on wine tourism" and associated culture, in the parish of Pousada, Braga.
Solar da Pena wines comprise two ranges: one called Folclore, so named for expressing a more traditional profile with greater rusticity (White, Red and Rosé), and another more complex and charming range, which adopts the name Solar da Pena (Batonnage & Oak and Arinto), "where new expressions of Vinho Verde are sought, deeper, drier and more mineral wines".
