An Austrian inherited a passion for distillation from his father, who produced high-quality brandy. His team partnered with his father-in-law and a team of renowned Master Distillers from Jalisco, Mexico, to create Padre Azul.
Padre Azul is made in Mexico, going beyond the standard requirements and quality criteria for Mexican tequila. Our bottle was inspired by Mexican culture and heritage.
Created from Blue Weber Agave plants that have been mature for at least eight years. The agave plants are grown in the 'Valles' near Amatitán, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico.
Slow-cooked in traditional 'Mamposteria' ovens, fermented without artificial yeast, and distilled in small batches.
