Like so many others, we embraced the immense power of the sea... its waves, ebbs and flows... to create something remarkable.
Our home in Wick, situated on Scotland's northernmost coast, is entirely shaped by its maritime past. Since the distillery doors opened in 1826, and continuing to this day, the whisky breathes the air of the sea, taking on its coastal qualities. Maritime Malt.
