Kurayoshi, at the foot of Mount Daisen, has fine water, essential for whisky distillation. Kurayoshi, whose name means "Life is good," is the origin of the word, but the annual temperature range on the Sea of Japan side is large, and the aging of the whisky also occurs quickly compared to situations like on the island of Islay.
It's no exaggeration to say that whisky is made by the barrel and by nature. Our distillery isn't large, we have a small team, however, we will continue to strive with all our employees, with the desire to deliver the best whisky.
